MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – A Moorefield man has admitted to his involvement in a fentanyl and methamphetamine distribution operation, according to U.S. Attorney Bill Powell.

Dennis James Miller, 44, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute fentanyl. Miller admitted to distributing more than 64 grams of fentanyl and more than 69 grams of 100% pure methamphetamine from January to June in Grant County and the surrounding area.

Miller faces at least five years and up to 40 years' incarceration and a fine of up to $5 million.

The Potomac Highlands Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force, West Virginia State Police and the Charles Town Police Department investigated.
