CUMBERLAND — A Cumberland woman was jailed without bond Sunday after police said she stole a vehicle and burglarized a city residence on Saturday.

Leatherman was arrested after police stopped the Pontiac on North Mechanic Street Saturday after a motorist observed it on state Route 28 in Mineral County, West Virginia.

Police found merchandise in the vehicle that Leatherman admitted taking from the Dollar General store in Fort Ashby, West Virginia, on Saturday.

Leatherman was being held in the Allegany County Detention Center following a district court hearing.
