CUMBERLAND — A city woman was taken to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center on Wednesday night after she lost control of her automobile and collided with a pickup truck operated by a Keyser, W.Va., woman, Maryland State Police said.
Sharon George, 46, was taken to the hospital by Cresaptown Volunteer Fire Department ambulance following the 10 p.m. crash that occurred on U.S. Route 220 at Barton Boulevard. Following treatment of minor injuries, George was treated and released.
Police said Julie Bishoff, 21, of Keyser, and an infant passenger in Bishoff’s 1994 Ford F-150 were treated at the scene but not did require transport to a hospital.
