CUMBERLAND — A city man was charged by Cumberland Police Saturday after allegedly creating a disturbance at a Baltimore Avenue residence.
Carl Spates Stallings Sr., 58, was charged with disturbing the peace, failure to obey a lawful order and disorderly conduct, police said.
A female resident told police Stallings was intoxicated and she wanted him to leave the property. Officers arrived and asked him to leave. He then reportedly returned a short time later. Police were again called and he was placed under arrest.
Stallings was issued criminal citations and released pending trial, police said.
