CUMBERLAND — A city man was jailed without bond Sunday following his arrest on drug charges, Cumberland Police said.

Rodricus Marquees Wilkes, 31, was charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute after officers responded to a disturbance call Friday at a Bedford Street home.

Police said when they arrived Wilkes had visible injuries and appeared to be concealing something. Following a search, a quantity of suspected heroin was located.

Wilkes, who was arrested Saturday, was being held in the Allegany County Detention Center pending further court action.
