SCHELLSBURG, Pa. — The recent theft of a shot gun pistol, a rifle and a shotgun from a Cortland Road residence in Napier Township remains under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police.
The theft occurred during a forced entry into the victim residence between July 21 and Aug. 3, police said.
Items stolen included a 410-gauge shotgun pistol, a 16-gauge lever action shotgun and a .22-caliber lever action rifle, a Stihl 180C chainsaw and a Stihl 028 chainsaw. Value of the stolen items reportedly exceeded $1,000.
