Frostburg man arrested in vehicle tampering case

CUMBERLAND — A Frostburg man is awaiting trial after he allegedly broke into a vehicle on East First Street, Cumberland Police said.

William Bernard Hummel III, 25, was charged via criminal summons with theft, rogue and vagabond and tampering with a motor vehicle.

Police said video surveillance factored in the investigation of the June 10 complaint in which Hummel allegedly stole items from the vehicle.
