ACCIDENT — Alleged burglary of a hunting cabin in the Accident area in November has led to the arrest of two Garrett County men, according to the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office.

Sidney Timothy Burgess, 30, of Oakland, and Michael George Reed, 19, of Accident, were each charged Monday with first-degree burglary and felony theft over $1,000 in connection with the Nov. 21 break-in.

Burgess remained jailed Monday on $5,000 bond. Reed was released on his personal recognizance, pending trial in district court.

Police said several hunting rifles and bows were stolen.
