Hampshire man charged with stabbing woman

GREEN SPRING, W.Va. — A Green Spring man was arrested Monday night after allegedly stabbing a woman multiple times during a domestic incident in Hampshire County.

David D. Dubs, 49, was charged with malicious assault following the incident around 7:30 p.m. on Greenspring Valley Road, said Chief Deputy Nathan Sions of the Hampshire County Sheriff's Department.

Dubs remained jailed Tuesday at the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail in Augusta, according to electronic jail records.

Sions said the victim was stabbed in the upper thigh and lower leg. She was taken to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
