Hyndman solicitor to speak at Memorial Day ceremony at school

HYNDMAN, Pa. — Attorney Bradley D. Allison, solicitor for the Hyndman Borough Council, will speak at the Memorial Day ceremony May 28 at 10 a.m. at the HOPE for Hyndman Charter School.

The ceremony will follow the parade that will form at 9 a.m. on Second Avenue and will start at 9:30 a.m. Honors will be rendered to fallen and missing comrades, including the “Last Roll Call,” during the ceremony.

Allison graduated from Chestnut Ridge High School in 1988. In 1992, he graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in English and minor in speech communications. He graduated from the Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle with a juris doctorate in May 1997 and was admitted to the practice of law in Pennsylvania in November 1997.

In 1999, Allison returned to Bedford County with his wife, Trina, and joined a law firm in Hollidaysburg as an associate attorney. In 2004, he opened the Law Office of Bradley D. Allison in Bedford. In 2011, he and attorney Girard E. Rickards opened Allison & Rickards, Attorneys at Law, in Bedford. He is a member of the Bedford and Blair County bar associations and Pennsylvania Bar Association.

On May 27, members of Oscar Jordan Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7375 will attend the 9:30 a.m. service at First United Church of Christ.
