CUMBERLAND — A LaVale woman remained jailed without bond Wednesday following an alleged assault of a man inside the Parkview Liquors store on Greene Street, Cumberland Police said.
The victim and store employees told police the woman entered the store Tuesday and started arguing with the victim in the back office of the business. The confrontation reportedly moved to the front of the business where Farrah Mia Thomas, 38, allegedly threw bottles of liquor at the victim and used a box cutter to slice his hand.
Thomas was arrested on charges of first-degree felony assault and second-degree assault.
Thomas was being held at the Allegany County Detention Center, pending bail review Wednesday by a district court judge.
