CLARYSVILLE — A Philadelphia man was arrested Tuesday when police raided a property in the 16000 block of National Highway, according to the Allegany County Narcotics Task Force.

Police arrested Curtis Tyrell McAllister, 38, on charges of possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute oxycodone, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and three counts of possession with a controlled dangerous substance (not marijuana).

McAllister remained jailed without bond Wednesday at the Allegany County Detention Center, pending bail review by a district court judge.

Police said large amounts of heroin and crack cocaine were seized along with oxycodone pills, money and packaging material for controlled dangerous substances.

The arrest resulted from an investigation into distribution of heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine in the Allegany County area.

Allegany County narcotics investigators were assisted by the Garrett County Narcotics Task Force, the Maryland State Police Gang Enforcement Unit, MSP STATE Team, MSP Cumberland barrack, the Allegany County Sheriff's Office and the Cumberland Police Department.
