CUMBERLAND — Police seized a vehicle Thursday night at Frostburg but determined later it was not the vehicle being sought in connection with a possible road rage incident Wednesday night on state Route 51 in the Messick Road area.
"The suspect vehicle is still at large and if anyone has seen it or knows anything please give us a call," said a spokesman at the Cumberland barrack of Maryland State Police.
It was early Thursday evening when police located a vehicle in the Rite Aid parking lot that was initially believed to be involved in the road rage incident that left two bullet holes in the victim vehicle. The Chrysler was seized and towed from the scene.
"There was an arrest made when the vehicle was seized but it was incidental," police said.
The vehicle being sought is a newer model, light blue or gray-colored Chrysler 300 displaying temporary registration.
