SALISBURY, Pa. — Graduates of Salisbury-Elk Lick High School were addressed by classmates Danielle Diehl, salutatorian, and Jack Bluebaugh, valedictorian, during commencement exercises held Sunday afternoon at the school.

The guest speaker was Matthew Deal, a 1998 alumnus who now serves as minister at St. Paul United Church of Christ.

Other class members who participated in the ceremony were Ashley Thomas, Laurel Podlesnik and Aaron Maust.

Principal Ken Fusina presented the class and Wendell Yoder, Board of Education president, distributed the diplomas.

In addition to Diehl, Bluebaugh, Thomas and Maust, graduates recognized as National Honor Society members were Emily Beitzel, Philip Byler, Emily Haines, Lydia Hale-Cooper, Christina Maust, Brody Thomas, Ryan Vogt and Steven Yoder.

The remaining graduates include Rosemarie Barron, Brandon Birmingham, Nicholas Brown, Cody Dice, Ronald Haning, Colby Harshberger, Russell Hillegas, Luke Holler, Nathan Hutzel, Amanda Lowery, Nathan Lowery, Adam Lung, Alexander Menges, Shawn Pritts, Brittany Sanner, Ashley Steinly and Brooke Sterner.
