CUMBERLAND — A Speakeasy Casino Night will be held March 28 at 7 p.m. at the Embassy Theatre, 49 Baltimore St.
“Be transported back to the Roaring ‘20s,” said a theater spokesman in an emailed news release. “Wear your best 1920s clothing and come out.” The benefit will be hosted by Mayor Ray Morriss and only 100 tickets will be sold.
Included in the price is $500 in Embassy Bucks for the ticket holder’s gaming pleasure and a complimentary cocktail from the Embassy’s Passport Cafe. The evening is open to the public, but only residents 21 years old and over may attend.
There will be several games of chance, including roulette, poker and blackjack. Those in attendance will play for a variety of prizes and there will be a coupon presented for best costume.
