Joey and Kecia Smith of Friendsville, founders of Operation Hope Puppet Ministries, will participate in Countdown to Christmas at Living Waters Ministries, Henderson Avenue and Front Street, Cumberland, Sunday at 11 a.m. Cameron the “golden microphone” Camel and a “heavenly” host of other unique puppets will sing lively songs and relate stories to tell the audience the “true meaning of Christmas.” The Smiths help with programs such as Read Across America, vacation Bible schools, summer festivals and mini-crusades, all for the sake of helping, encouraging and reaching out to children of all ages.
