KEYSER, W.Va. — Potomac State College sophomore Amanda McKim has been named to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Basketball Pre-Season All-American second team.

McKim, a Hanover, Pa., native, averaged a team-high 18 points as well as 6.4 rebounds and two steals per game while appearing in 27 games last season for the Lady Cats. She was 16th in the country in scoring, and was named second-team All-Region XX.

McKim shot over 52 percent (208-for-394) from the floor last season, including 52 percent (38-for-72) from three-point range.

The Lady Cats, who were 17-10 and won their second consecutive Western Pennsylvania Conference Championship last year, make this year’s home debut Wednesday, Nov. 12, against Frederick Community College, at 7 p.m., at the Dana Lough Gymnasium.
