FROSTBURG - Frostburg State University will conclude its Homecoming Weekend festivities with the President's Concert Oct. 29 at 3 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center, Pealer Recital Hall.

The concert features student and alumni musicians, new faculty artists and the FSU Jazz Ensemble and Chamber Choir

The Chamber Choir's performance, under the direction of Dr. Karen Soderberg-Sarnaker, will include the madrigal selections "Fair Phyllis I Saw Sitting All Alone" by John Farmer, "Il Bianco e dolce cigno" by Jacob Arcadelt and "My Bonnie Lass She Smelleth" by PDQ Bach.

Betty Jane Phillips will accompany the Chamber Choir.

The concert will feature alumnus Todd Shelar on guitar and faculty artist Dr. Mark Gallagher on clarinet.

Shelar earned a bachelor of science in music from Frostburg State and is currently teaching studio guitar in Washington. Gallagher, newly appointed assistant professor of theory and clarinet studies, is active as a solo performer throughout Europe and the United States.

The President's Concert is free and open to the public.
