POTOMAC PARK - Michael Moyer got out of a jam in the bottom of the 10th inning and Aaron O'Rourke did the same in the 11th as Barney's Drywall edged The Wisp in an 11-inning marathon Thursday at Holler Field.

The Flintstone team swept the best-of-three series and will play the Outdoor Power-Salisbury Legion winner next week.

Barney's Drywall (15-4) trailed 5-2 through four innings, but tied it with a run in the fifth and two more in the sixth.

The Wisp (15-6) had a golden opportunity to win it in the 10th, loading the bases with one out, but Moyer grabbed a comebacker and threw home to cacher Eli Souders to start a 1-2-3 inning ending double play.

Matt Propst and Aaron O'Rourke singled to lead off the 11th for Barney's. On a double steal, Propst was out at third and O'Rourke made it safely to second. Moyer singled home O'Rourke with the go-ahead run and Jordan Leach singled in Moyer to make it 7-5.

The Wisp threatened again in the bottom of the 11th when Andy Umbel and Cody Rodeheaver walked and stole a base, putting runners on second and third with no one out.

That's when Aaron O'Rourke, who had thrown three earlier relief innings, returned to the mound and promptly struck out the next three hitters to seal the win.

Connor O'Rourke had three singles and scored three runs and Vinny Foreman added three singles for Barney's.

Four Barney's pitchers - Nelson Raines, Aaron O'Rourke, Connor O'Rourke and Michael Moyer - teamed for a four-hitter in the 11-inning game. Moyer got the win and Aaron O'Rourke a save.
