SHORT GAP, W.Va. — After a goalless first half, Hampshire found the back of the net four times in the second stanza to defeat Frankfort 4-0 on Thursday afternoon.

It didn’t take long in the second half for Hampshire to get on the board, as Morgan Pyles scored from the penalty kick spot at the 37:08 mark.

Camryn Downs doubled the Trojans’ lead nearly 14 minutes later with an unassisted tally at 23:53.

Hampshire closed out the scoring with unassisted goals from Nicole McManamay at 11:49 and Hannah Alt with 3:20 to play.

Savannah Garrett made four saves for the Trojans. Frankfort goalkeeper Taryn Ackerman saved nine shots in total, with five coming during the scoreless first half.

Hampshire (8-0-1) travels to Mountain Ridge today at 1:30 p.m. Frankfort (3-7) hosts North Marion this afternoon at 1 p.m.
