HYNDMAN, Pa. — Tim Moore scored a game-high 23 points, Mason Warner had 14 and Brady Weimer 10, leading Mountain Ridge to a 70-26 victory at Hope for Hyndman on Wednesday night.
Moore, who had 10 two-point field goals and one three, scored 16 of his points in the first half, as the Miners (9-5) built an 18-8 first-quarter lead and extended it to 37-16 at the half. It was 57-22 heading into the fourth.
Banks Stouffer led Hope for Hyndman with 13 points and Noah Stair had 11.
Mountain Ridge hosted Keyser Friday night.

ROMNEY, W.Va. — Jalyn Wright scored 17 points to lead Washington past Hampshire Thursday evening.
Trevor Sardo led Hampshire with a game-high 19 points and three three-point goals. Drew Keckley added 11 points and Grant Mayfield had 10.
Washington won the junior varsity game 48-27 with Smith getting 11 points. Alex Smith had six for Hampshire.
The Trojans (2-15) play at Northern on Monday. Washington (5-11) played at Jefferson Friday night.

OAKLAND — Tyler Rodeheaver scored 22 points and Dalton Wiles added a season-high 20, leading Southern to its 11th straight win, a 16-point victory over Northern in a non-conference game Friday evening.
Cory Ashby posted a double-double for the Rams (14-2), scoring 13 points and hauling in a team-high 10 rebounds.
Rodeheaver sank eight field goals and 5 of 6 free throws to lead all scorers. Wiles made nine field goals and a free throw.
Xavier Pryor led Northern (10-7) with 17 points, while Dillan Orendorf and Ryan Harvey had 11 each.
Southern won the junior varsity game 61-36. Isaac Upole had 23 points and 10 rebounds, Josiah Hebb 17 points and Gabe Hebb 11 for the Rams. Isaac Bittinger netted nine points for the Huskies.

PAW PAW, W.Va. — Nick Hiett and Coby Ridgeway had 12 points each and Dylan Moreland and Dominic Tanouye had 10, sending Paw Paw past Hope for Hyndman Charter School on Thursday.
Tanouye also had six rebounds and three steals, Hiett six rebounds, Moreland five rebounds and Ridgeway five steals for the Pirates (6-8). Gavin Gunther had a team-high seven rebounds and three steals.

INSTITUTE, W.Va. — Gavin Kennedy led three players in double figures as Robert C. Byrd defeated Frankfort on Wednesday night in the Little General Shootout at the Big House at West Virginia State University.
Kennedy scored a game-high 15 points as Khori Miles added 13 and Blake Meighen had 12.
Zack Whitacre led the Falcons (12-3) with nine points and Jansen Knotts added seven.
Broadfording 88Calvary 19
HAGERSTOWN — Yara Zamuruiev finished with a game-high 20 points leading four players in double figures as Broadfording defeated Calvary on Thursday night.
Isaiah Dillinger added 18, Bogdan Ivanichkin 14 and Charlie Bell 13 for Broadfording, who led after each period, 14-6, 27-14 and 48-19.
Will Speis led the Eagles with six points.
On Tuesday night, Speis scored 19 and Ashby Whitacre added 10, but Calvary fell at Shalom, 43-42.
The Eagles (6-13) host Hancock this evening at 8 p.m.
