CUMBERLAND — Undefeated Bishop Walsh scored two second-half goals as the Spartans defeated Frankfort, 2-0, at Brother Stephen F. Paul Stadium on Tuesday.

Jason Rossi scored on an assist from Adil Faisal at the 19:20 mark for the Spartans and Cam Hein scored on an assist from Hunter Latterner at 1:04.

Chris Kenney had four saves and Stephen Shambaugh had five on 13 shots from BW. Tyler Dixon had three saves on three Frankfort shots.

Bishop Walsh (3-0) plays at Hope for Hyndman on Monday at 4 p.m.

Calvary 3, Faith 1

CRESAPTOWN — Connor O’Brien scored two goals to lead Calvary Christian Academy over Faith Christian Tuesday at Calvary.

Faith took a 1-0 lead when Collin Hoffman scored at the 2:00. The Eagles, however, would lead at the half, as Will Speis scored unassisted 30 seconds later. O’Brien then scored unassisted at 20:00 to make it 2-1 at the half.

At 25:00 of the second half, O’Brien scored again on an assist from Isaac Scritchfield.

Calvary outshot Faith, 33-5 and had a 7-1 corner kick advantage. Keeper Colby Mallery had three saves.

Last Friday, Scritchfield scored two goals and Speis scored a goal and had three assists to lead Calvary to a 5-0 win over Heritage.

The Eagles took a 3-0 halftime lead as Luke Reed scored on an assist by Speis at 4:00. Scritchfield was then assisted by Luke Reed at 29:00, before Speis scored on an assist by Connor O’Brien at 39:00.

In the second half, Scritchfield scored on an assist by Speis at 20:00 and Reed scored on another Speis assist at 23:00.
