Resort to offer guided outdoor activities

ROCKY GAP — Starting in May, Rocky Gap Casino Resort will partner with Cumberland business Wheelzup Adventures to introduce new guided outdoor activities to guests.

The resort will offer guided hikes, bike rdes, group floats and paddling and pedaling classes to its lineup of entertainment options.

“We are thrilled to be working with the Wheelzup team to enhance Rocky Gap’s exciting adventures for our guests,” said Brian Kurtz, senior vice president and general manager. “Partnering with local businesses like Wheelzup is important not only for our local economy, but for local tourism. With a spacious and beautiful state park and lake in our backyard, this partnership will take the fun to new heights for outdoor explorers.”

In addition to guided activities and classes, guests can take advantage of Rocky Gap’s lakeside setting with fishing equipment offered for rent or for sale. Also for rent will be canoes, stand-up paddle boards, kayaks and pedal boats. Rentals will be available daily, with guided activities on a schedule for reference with the resort concierge. Information about pricing and activities offered by Wheelzup Adventures will be available on Rocky Gap’s website.
